1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ServiceLocal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Service Description
ServiceLocal is an online marketplace connecting home service providers with customers in Quebec. We facilitate connections but are not a party to contracts between providers and customers.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Provider Accounts
Providers must supply accurate and complete information about their services. ServiceLocal reserves the right to verify information and refuse or suspend any profile that violates our policies.
5. Credit System & Payments
Purchased credits are non-refundable except in cases of technical error on our part. Subscriptions auto-renew and may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
6. Prohibited Content
You may not post false or misleading content, harass other users, attempt to circumvent our payment system, or use the platform for any illegal purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
ServiceLocal is not liable for services rendered by providers, damages caused during service performance, or disputes between providers and customers.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting. Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and Canada. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Quebec.
