How it works
Create your profile for free
Register your business, add your services and availability. No cost.
A client books your service
The client chooses a service, a date and a time slot, and confirms the booking.
You arrange payment with the client
The client pays you directly (Interac e-transfer, cash, etc.). ServiceLocal doesn't process payments yet.
You send the commission via e-transfer
Send 10% of the service price via Interac e-transfer to payments@servicelocal.ca after each confirmed booking.

Is it really free to sign up?
Yes. Registration is completely free for both clients and businesses. No subscription fees.
When is the commission due?
Commission applies as soon as a booking is confirmed and paid directly between you and the client. No booking = no commission.
How will I receive my money?
The client pays you directly (Interac e-transfer, cash, etc.). You then send the commission owed to ServiceLocal via Interac e-transfer to payments@servicelocal.ca.
Can the commission rate change?
The current rate is 10%. ServiceLocal reserves the right to change this rate with prior notice.
